Kids Count Players

The Kids Count Players are a volunteer project of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County. Created for children and dedicated to keeping them safe, these dynamic volunteers perform for kindergarten through second grade students, educating them about personal safety and boundaries, private touches and the difference between surprises and secrets. The program provides children with critical information to help them stay safe from abuse.

Since the program’s inception, the Kids Count Players have educated more than 100,000 elementary-aged children in our community. Interested in volunteering or in hosting the Kids Count Players at your school? Please contact Jane Donovan at jdono87715@aol.com.

RECENT REVIEW:
Miss Tania,
I am a stay at home mom of kindergarten twins. Recently, I visited a Kids Count Players performance at my children’s school. Before attending, I was a bit skeptical. After attending, I was so glad I went. I liked everything about the performance. The use of puppets to convey the messaging was wonderful. The volunteers handled the performance in a sensitive way that was easy for the students to understand. Their techniques grabbed the student’s attention and The Kids Count song had a great take home message. The entire Kids Count Players volunteer team demonstrated great care and concern about the students. I congratulate you and thank The Kids Count Players for doing such an awesome job. Keep on rocking.
